The Planar 3 RS (Rega Special) is a premium upgrade of the iconic Planar 3, featuring a rigid brushed dark aluminium HPL laminated plinth for maximum stability and resonance control. This special edition comes factory-fitted with the acclaimed Nd5 moving magnet cartridge and includes the Neo MK2 PSU, hand-tuned to the 24V low-noise motor for superior speed accuracy and reduced vibration.

With the handmade RB330 tonearm, double brace technology, a CNC-machined pulley, Reference EBLT drive belt, and a 12mm float glass platter, the Planar 3 RS delivers exceptional clarity, timing, and dynamic range. Finished with a smoked dust cover, this is the ultimate version of the Planar 3 — engineered for those who want performance that rivals far more expensive decks.
